Please read the following conditions before ordering or accepting delivery of your Skip Trans skip.
Customers requesting that a skip delivery vehicle leaves the public highway and enters private property do so at their own risk.
Please ensure there is sufficient safe access for the delivery vehicle and make the driver aware of any potential hazards including walls, gates, pillars, manholes, overhead cables, trees or unsuitable ground surfaces.
Skip Trans cannot accept responsibility for damage to driveways, paving, surfaces, manholes or other property resulting from the weight or operation of the delivery vehicle or skip where delivery has been requested onto private property.
Please ensure your skip is packed neatly and safely for transportation.
Do not overload your skip. Waste must not exceed a maximum height of approximately 1 foot above the rim of the skip.
An overloaded or unsafe skip may not be collected. The driver will make the final decision as to whether a loaded skip is safe to transport.
Customers must not burn waste or permit waste to be burned inside a Skip Trans skip.
Please remember: no batteries, gas canisters, aerosols or paint tins.
Hazardous, liquid and other prohibited wastes must not be placed in a general skip.

The customer is responsible for the skip and its contents while it is on hire.
The customer must ensure that the skip and its contents do not create a hazard or give rise to litter. This responsibility remains with the customer until the skip has been collected.
The customer is responsible for any loss of or damage to the skip while it is on hire, excluding reasonable wear and tear.
If a skip is to be placed on a public road or other public area, the customer is responsible for ensuring that any required permission or permit is obtained and that all relevant local authority requirements are followed.
The customer is also responsible for ensuring that the skip is appropriately visible during hours of darkness and complies with applicable local requirements.
By ordering and accepting delivery of a Skip Trans skip, the customer agrees to comply with these conditions of hire.
