Environmental Policy

Skip Trans Waste Solutions & Recycling is a family run business providing an unrivalled service in Skip Hire. Ballymore Bins, is the wheelie bin division of our recycling business.

Our recycling business operates from a purpose built facility in Greenogue Business Park which is fully authorised by South Dublin County Council. We also hold a multi region waste collection permit for the 26 counties in the Republic Of Ireland.

We are committed to carrying out our activities in a manner that will not create any negative impacts on the environment. As part of this commitment we aim to:

• Continually improve our environmental performance and prevent pollution.
• Promote recycling and endeavor to increase our recycling rates by looking for new outlets for recyclable materials.
• Provide information to our customers to help them increase their recycling rates.
• Comply with all environmental legislation relating to our business and where appropriate exceed these requirements.
• Where appropriate, provide training to ensure our staff have the skills and knowledge to carry out their tasks in a manner that protects the environment.
• Be a good neighbour and not create any environmental nuisances.
• Communicate our policy to our employees, contractors and interested parties.
• Make our environmental policy available to the public.

This policy is supported at senior level by our Managing Director and is reviewed annually.
